I have used several years of iTunes, rather than by preference, but it is the simplest software, I use my iPod sync. I have already bought a music CD in general, never really felt that buying the album as a hard album mp3 version of the same value, but they seem to have the same price tag!
Recently I was searching the internet for discounts on iTunes music, and came across loads of YouTube videos telling you how to ‘hack’ iTunes codes and other shady methods of getting free credit. Whilst searching through these results, I came across a way of getting a free ?50 iTunes voucher! All I had to do is to complete an offer, such as a free LOVEFiLM trial, and then get some friends to do the same. This seemed too good to be true, but as it was free, I decided to give it a go, and to my surprise after a week or so, a ?50 iTunes voucher arrived in my email inbox!
The whole idea is based on affiliate marketing, which provides incentives to a retailer as a new customer. The same concept is used by Sky if they offer you ? 50 M
Www.freeiTunesvoucher.com created a website to help people further understand how the whole operation process, and let them make their choices based on facts. I hope you have a visit after reading this, and there is a comment form on the website, I would appreciate any feedback.
usability
Usability is the most important aspect of web development. It's all very well with a nice looking dynamic web site, but if it takes a long time to download or is difficult to navigate, users will give up the visit of another. Users want to find the information they seek – if you do not find it quickly, we will see elsewhere.
Remember who you are the Web site for deployment. Do not sacrifice usability for design. Much of what you consider to be important if it is dependent in terms of ease of use to your audience and purpose of your website. If you think about usability before they commit to a new design project, and in the design in the development stages, it will also look good and be operable. Put your visitors first.
navigation
Navigation is the most important aspect of a website. It helps users find their way, and tells them where they are and where they go within the site. It provides a visual means for the detection of the hierarchy to find the information. Good navigation is often reflected good site structure.
Usually found in these forms:
navigation panel
location indicator device (breadcrumbs)
home button
links
html title
site map
search facility
the 404 (and other error pages)
graphics as navigation and/or links
navigation panel
Set of links on left hand side or top area of page
Best saved as a server side include
Can be text links or graphics
Should take up as little space as possible
Keep in a consistent form across the web site
Same place
If a change of color indicates a different section of the web site – make sure there are other means of indicating the change (see color blindness issues)
location indicator device (breadcrumbs)
Should be added to every page other than the home page
Near the top of the page
Shows the visitor where the page belongs – where they are in relation to the rest of the web site
Should be as concise as possible and follow the navigation structure of the site
Often as a small section of the site map
(e.g.) home > usability as on this page
Each preceding item needs to be a link
The last item should not be a link as it is the current page and provides an visual indication of this
home button
Not necessary on actual home page
A home button / company logo (link to home page) at the very top left
Should make sure there is a textual link to home on all pages for visitors who aren’t familiar with the logo being a link
The location indicator device (see above) provides a textual link to the home page
?
links
All textual hyper links should be underlined
The visitor should not have to mouse over, or hover, on a link to realise it is a link – make it obvious
Provide plenty of textual links within the web site to allow the visitor to cross reference information
Try to provide these in stacked lists of links, rather than “hidden” within the text
Links within text can slow down reading flow, but this may be a good thing sometimes by highlighting particular words
Differentiate between internal links (links within the web site) and external links (links to other web sites)
If you are linking within the web site, simply link the appropriate text
If you are linking to an external web site, try to include the full web site address (e.g. http://www.othercompany.com/) in the text
This is so visitors know they are going to a different web site before they click on the link
Don’t make links open in a new window by using target=”_blank”
Visitors can get confused and/or irritated by this
Destroys the back button – a common means of back tracking
When linking to large files, such as .avi or .pdf
Provide a KB size in brackets next to the link so visitors know how large the file is before downloading it
Make sure visitors know when they have been to a link
Change the color from blue to red/purple, or a least make visited links a less saturated color than unvisited links
Back to the top of the HTML title of the HTML header to keep the current page in the browser's title bar displays the top to keep it for those who might bookmark site also see how it affects search engine some useful items
Sitemap is a separate page, a page map shows the hierarchical structure of the website with links to all relevant pages have a prominent link to the page from any page
search facility
Some users choose a search facility before using any other navigation feature
Other users will use a search facility as a last resort
Make sure your site has one
Put the search box in a prominant position on every page
Keep it as simple as possible
Don’t add extra choices for the user – can be confusing/time consuming
Make sure you know/adjust the relevancy of results
There are plenty of companies providing free service for smaller sites
http://www.atomz.com (used on this site) is free for sites less than 500 pages
Allows you to choose how relevant the page title, meta tags, body text etc are.
the 404 (and other error pages)
Use your error pages effectively
If you don’t they will probably leave your web site
Provide a custom error page for each type of error (404 page not found, 403 forbidden etc)
Visitors know they are on your web site
Provide the same site wide navigation as on your other pages
Utilize it for their benefit
Provide a brief description of your web site, why they have got this error and include a site map so they can navigate to something useful quickly
graphics as navigation and/or links
Be careful when using graphic/images as links or navigation
If the border=”0″ on the graphic tag, there may be no obvious way for the visitor to tell it is a link
If they don’t mouseover the graphic, they will not see the cursor change to a hand
Try and provide textual links to the same information as well as the graphic
If aesthetics are less important – keep the border=”1″ on graphics/images as links
See the information on image maps as navigation

Everyone likes a winning ad – advertisers love it because it consistently brings in business, the papers love it because if a client’s retail print advertising is successful, they’ll run it more frequently – perhaps forever.? So ask for a discount for your print advertising rates, and here’s the way you go about it.
3. Here’s how to politely ask for a discount newspaper advertisement rate:
Ask for
· 2 ads for the cost of 1 (buy one get one free special)
· Ask for a larger ad at a smaller ad price
· Buy 2 get one FREE rate
· Mail Order Rate
· Multiple Insertion Rate

4. Send a press release with every ad you place.
A press release doubles your exposure and with the successful placement of your press release, your credibility goes up – way, way up.?
Remember, newspaper editors love press releases.? They have a complete newspaper to fill up every day (every week for weekly papers) and writing it all themselves is tough.? Newspaper advertising needs support from the editorial, and if you write your press release correctly you’ll be providing this editorial support.? See our 85-page chapter on writing press releases in the book, “How To Market a Product For Under $500.”
5.? Ask your local paper for “Remnant space.”
If placing national ads, use a remnant space buying service – there are several great ones around, and are shown in the book “Direct Marketing Strategies.”?
“Remnant space” is the term that makes all newspaper and magazine publishers cringe.?
Also called “Standby space,” this is the unsold part of the newspaper left over just before the newspaper goes to press.? Like an empty seat on an airplane when the door is closing, newspaper advertising space is a perishable commodity.? The newspaper publisher can’t leave it blank – it would appear as a white hole in a gray page of print, so sometimes they’ll run a house ad for the newspaper, or sometimes a free ad for a charity like the United Way.? But most times it’s sold, and anything paid for it is better revenue than a non-paid space.? This can mean cheap and highly discounted newspaper advertising space ads for you.
Remnant ad space is always sold late in the selling cycle, at the last closing moments before the printing process.? You won’t know if your remnant space ad made it into the paper until the last second, but the steep discounts make it worth the wait.?
Newspaper advertising prices are discounted up to 80% off list. That's right, you can bargain newspaper advertising space by the payment of 20 ? on the dollar with the demand for
Regardless of the price you ask for your newspaper advertising prices, always great for placement of your ad in front of the paper, called on the top of the page (above the fold) and flush right -) on the right hand (outside position of the right side. This is the highest visibility on the ground in the newspaper. Ads that are buried in the lower part of the job or in the gutter lose a lot of low visibility and effectiveness of those poor placement.
You need to ask for this “FFRH” (Far Forward Right Hand” position above the fold spot before you say “yes” to the final placing of your ad.? Once you say yes to placing your newspaper ad, you don’t have any further negotiating power.? Even highly discount print advertising rates won’t help if your ad isn’t seen because it’s in the left hand page gutter – visually buried under everyone else’s ad. Hope this is helpful.
AVATAR STORYLINE
In 2154, the RDA corporation is mining Pandora, a lush, Earth-like moon of the planet Polyphemus. Parker Selfridge (Giovanni Ribisi) heads the mining operation, and it employs former marines for security. The corporation intends to exploit Pandora’s reserves of a valuable mineral called unobtanium. Pandora is inhabited by the Na’vi, a blue-skinned neolithic species of sapient humanoids with feline characteristics. Physically stronger and taller than humans, the Na’vi live in harmony with Nature, worshiping a mother goddess called Eywa.
Humans cannot survive exposure to Pandora’s atmosphere for very long and use oxygen masks. In an attempt to improve relations with the natives, scientists create human-Na’vi hybrids called avatars, controlled by genetically-matched human operators. The scientists also lead schools for the Na’vi to learn English and to interact with the humans. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paraplegic former marine, becomes a last-minute replacement for his identical twin brother, a recently-murdered scientist trained to be an avatar operator. Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver), the head of the Avatar Program, considers Sully an inadequate replacement for his brother, and relegates him to a bodyguard role.
Jake escorts Augustine and biologist Norm Spellman (Joel David Moore) on an exploratory mission in their avatar forms to make contact with the Na’vi, in order to help establish diplomatic relations to solve the problem of resources and end the constant threat of violence. The group is attacked by a large predator, and Jake becomes separated and lost. Attempting to survive the night in Pandora’s dangerous jungles, he is rescued by Neytiri (Zoe Salda?a), a female Na’vi. Neytiri brings Jake to Hometree, which is inhabited by Neytiri’s clan, the Omaticaya. Mo’at (C. C. H. Pounder), the Na’vi shaman and Neytiri’s mother, shows interest in the warrior “Dream-walker” (their term for the Avatars), and instructs her daughter to teach Jake their ways. Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang), leader of the security forces for RDA, promises Jake his “real legs” back in exchange for intelligence about the natives and what it will take for them to abandon Hometree, which rests above a large deposit of unobtanium……READ THE REST OF THE AVATAR STORY ?Click Here
