Amega Global is a network marketing company that operates in Asia, Canada, USA, Kenya and the UK.
Amega Global is a very well run and has an explosive growth in the last 6 months experienced gains of over 180% as a company. The range seems very unique in the market and the leadership seems to be within the company quite well.
Amega Global’s products consist primarily of skin care, water filtration, jewellery, and massage oils. Although their products themselves are of very high quality and have a unique refinement process, I have found that it is not the products themselves that cause a person to be successful in a network marketing opportunity.
One major concern that I have with Amega Global is the training that they are providing to their distributors. Upon becoming a member of their system, their training consists of traditional network marketing tactics such as making a list of friends and family, cold calling, and hotel meetings. Personally I believe that these tactics are extremely outdated compared to what is available in today’s marketplace.
To succeed within Amega Global, you need the right marketing system where you can systematically build and grow a list, brand yourself, and give massive value on the market have. Since only site governed only Amega Global offers you with a company, it is extremely difficult to stand out in the marketplace, if you practice the same website that all the other dealers.
If you are interested in becoming a leading worker in Amega Global, make sure you read the resource box below and then click the link for more information.
See you at the top,

How to Network With Busy People
Thursday, August 20th, 2009Communicate like a human being, not a marketer.
If your email looks even remotely like spam, expect that busy people will treat it as such.
If an email looks impersonal at all or seems like it’s being sent to more than one person, busy people will often delete it without reading it. Busy people get enough personal communication that they don’t want to bother with anything that isn’t personal.
Sometimes I get messages sent through my online contact form that start with salutations like “Hi Marc…” I actually prefer these copy/paste blunders, since it saves me from having to read them before hitting delete.
If you’re going to contact a busy person, make sure your message is personal and specific to that person.
Be authentic.
Get clear about why you want to connect with a particular busy person.
Do you want to become good friends? Do you want to do business together? Do you want to ask for advice or mentoring?
Don’t put up a false front, pretending to want one thing while secretly desiring another.
Don’t pretend you want to be friends and hang out if you really just want to do a deal together. Similarly, don’t pretend you’re interested in doing business if you just want to hang out and be friends.
When you communicate inauthentically, other people will often pick up a creepy vibe from you. They may not even notice it consciously, but they’ll feel turned off by you.
Inauthentic communication is a big pet peeve of mine. It’s such a huge turnoff when someone is being fake with me. You may think you’re good at hiding your real intentions, but someone who deals with a high volume of communication has the opportunity to get pretty good at discerning patterns, so what seems invisible to you may be glaringly obvious to them.
Authenticity is the best policy. Putting up a false front simply isn’t necessary.
I’m not suggesting the approach of radical honesty, blurting out whatever you’re thinking and feeling no matter how offensive it may be. I think a little decorum and politeness is reasonable. However, to say one thing while secretly intending something else is a bad idea. You’re a lot more transparent than you realize. People usually won’t call you on it, but they’ll sense that something is off with you, and their shields will go up.
If you want people to lower their shields around you, make sure your expression reflects your intention.
Be patient.
Don’t buy into the myth of the once-in-a-lifetime networking opportunity. If you maintain an abundance mindset, interesting opportunities will come up again and again.
Think of networking like playing in the World Series of Poker main event. You aren’t going to win the whole thing on the first day. It’s a long road. You probably won’t make it to the final table. That may be a goal to strive for, but most of your experience will involve playing the game and making new friends along the way. The try-hards usually just make fools of themselves.
Networking with people is much the same. Sometimes you’ll encounter what appears to be an opportunity, but it doesn’t quite work out. Don’t force it. Be patient and wait for a better spot. Maintain your poise and self-respect, and don’t be a try-hard.
A few years ago, someone from Oprah’s production company called to offer me an “opportunity.” They were looking for someone to help teach Eckhart Tolle’s material for some webcasts they were doing. Was that a good spot for me? Heck no. I have no interest in presenting someone else’s material when I have so much of my own to share. I knew they could find hundreds of people to fill that role, so it’s not an area where I can make a unique contribution. It may have looked like an opportunity, but it wasn’t a good spot for me. To say yes to that would have been to act out of desperation. So naturally I turned them down. The “better spot” is to share my own material in the form of a 3-day workshop.
When you network with people, do so from a place of abundance. Know that opportunities are everywhere. When a good opportunity comes your way, accept it. But when the opportunity isn’t right, just relax and let it go.
Network Solutions and The Security Breach: Are We Missing a Wake-Up Call?
Monday, August 17th, 2009It’s taken me a bit of time to write this article. I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to express my concern for all of us without it sounding like I’m belittling the concerns of those affected by this unfortunate event.
Then I realized – that pretty much says it. Please take the sentiments that will follow in that context.
Before we go any further, I want to repeat the disclosure I made in the article I wrote on Tuesday. I serve on Network Solutions’ Social Web Advisory Board. It’s necessary to state that because my relationship with them may bias my opinion under certain circumstances. This is not one of those instances.
(And if you know me, you probably realize that it won’t stop me from saying what’s on my mind any way. Most likely to my detriment, my opinion can’t be swayed for less than $2 million, and my integrity is not for sale, ever.
)
All joking aside though (about the $2 million, not my integrity. I like to joke that I have a price but it’s more like $20 million, if I have one), this article is my perspective on several things that surrounded the recent breach of security at Network Solutions. I have three.
1. The overly harsh and at times, inaccurate press that occurred when the story broke. I expect that from mainstream media, not online.
2. The fact that what I saw as the most important part of the story was rarely, if ever discussed, although it’s far more important. Instead the often incorrect story that was in the press cast the company in a pretty dark light, given that Network Solutions did everything we have been asking big companies to do when these things happen.
3. Since NS (I’m tired of writing out Network Solutions!) did what they were supposed to do, why were there such harsh reactions to what happened?
Let’s start with the stories. I was on vacation when it broke, so I didn’t get to provide any input on how to manage coverage before it hit the press. In fact, it was reading about NS from my Google Alerts and seeing them start to pop in more frequently than usual that I realized something had happened. And I saw stories saying that NS “puts 570,000+ customer credit cards at risk” which while technically true makes it sound like NS was negligent in some way.
As I do with all stories I see about a company that deals with ecommerce or the web on any level, I went to several stories to get a fuller picture of what had happened. From skimming various headlines it sounded like NS had done something wrong and intentionally. Rather than having discovering and reporting a crime had likely been committed, it sounded from the coverage like they had committed one.
Meaning, that’s the type of headline you expect to see when a company finds out something happens, covers it up and pretends that nothing happened, knowing there are no negative connotations to them sweeping it under the rug. For something like this you’d expect to see more coverage that described accurately what happened, like, “Network Solutions warns merchants after hack“.
Sure, the headline isn’t as sexy, but at least I’ll continue to trust that organizations news. I’m just as much a fan of a grabby headline as the next marketer, but hype for the sake of hype is worse than a boring headline. At least an informative one is honest.
The reason it concerns me so much isn’t that the affected company is Network Solutions.
It may seem so, but if you follow that logic to its conclusion, you’d see that someone in my position wants to work with the companies that need help, or my company doesn’t exist. One could argue that if they didn’t have issues like this come up, they might not need a Social Web Advisory Board, and then they wouldn’t need me – who would that help? Not me.
Every help desk employee secretly loves Microsoft.
